Student Information System Administration
The Student Information System
- Maintain and support SIS (Genesis/OnCourse).
- Keep systems running, coordinate all updates.
- Train, support, troubleshoot on admin side for secretaries and other district staff.
- Assist Educational Directors with establishing curricular scheduling for teachers and students.
- Analyze how each file and included fields can be best used by district, administrators and other users to serve students and district's needs.
- Ensure current functionality is maintained and determine the integrity of new functionality.
- Develop and revise processes and procedures, standards and guidelines relating to schools' databases and district integration.
- Oversee and monitor activities to ensure schools' student databases remain stable and capable of meeting student and district needs.
- Communicate progress as well as interview to determine table and field values for additional capabilities.
- Understand and apply system wide workflow and processes as well as relationships with other internal and external databases.
- Analyze data to determine data solutions including data warehousing, access, security and integrity.
Master Schedule Services
- Assist districts in developing master scheduling teams
- Develop strategies used in creating a purpose driven schedule
- Provide guidelines for creating a scheduling timeline that meets the needs of your district
- Identify common scheduling roadblocks and strategies to avoid them
Program Evaluation
Program evaluation provides actionable information on district initiatives, increase transparency and accountability within the district, and help leaders make evidence-based decisions.

- College Action Plan - deadline identification, timeline mapping, SAT/ACT timeline, and other organizational help using a specialized program called College Planner Pro

- Career/Major assessment and evaluation
- Resume preparation and job shadowing/internship assistance
- Essay/Personal Statement and supplemental essays, including brainstorming, outlining, editing and multiple revisions
- Networking and corresponding with college counselors and admissions officers nationwide, including setting up personalized tours, and off-campus visits and interviews
- Assisting in Common Application, Coalition Application, and institution-specific applications
- Step-by-step application guidance ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Interview and “demonstrated interest” strategies and preparation
- Letters of recommendation and counselor brag sheet/questionnaire help
- Personalized scholarship search, including both local and national scholarships and detailed application review
- Supporting students with learning differences and special services (if applicable)
- Provide financial award estimates for colleges

NCAA Eligibility
- Obtain honest evaluation of student-athlete’s athletic talent level
- Discuss athletic strengths/weaknesses linked to personality type
- Review NCAA rules and regulations including the NCAA eligibility process
- Provide strategies for effective self-marketing to college coaches (i.e. Athletic Profile, Video, etc.)
- Explore the pros and cons of NCAA Division I, II, and III
- Provide coach contact information for colleges on target list
- Monitor progress of student-athlete/college coach relationship up until July after junior year
- Prepare Target List of colleges specifically tailored to the student-athlete
- Advise planning of official and/or unofficial athletic campus visits
